KenyaVotes is designed to present comparable public information about candidates, parties, electoral areas and election events. Inclusion is not an endorsement.

Candidate status

Prospective, declared, nominated and IEBC-cleared statuses are kept distinct. A profile should not be described as IEBC cleared unless an appropriate official source supports that status.

Sources

Where possible, profiles link to official, government, party and reputable public sources. Source dates and review timestamps help readers judge freshness.

Corrections

Material corrections should be logged and updated without altering sponsored placement or commercial relationships.
